Abdullah criticizes Karzai\'s stance on Taliban

KABUL- While speaking in front of supporters in the northeast province of Takhar, presidential candidate Abdullah Abdullah, urged President Hamid Karzai to stop referring to the Taliban as "brothers".Their involvment has been found in last week's massacre at the Serena Hotel that left nine dead, including women and children.

In reaction to President Karzai's stance on the Crimean issue, Dr. Abdullah took the opportunity to lambaste Karzai for having spoken out on a distant foreign policy issue instead of taking a firmer stance on the killing of innocent children. Earlier in the week, President Karzai announced in a meeting with a U.S. congressional delegation that Afghanistan respects the decision made by the Crimean people to become a part of the Russian Federation. A large number of Takhar's tribal elders and residents came together to hear Abdullah's comments, as well as his policy plans for if he is elected in April.

"Excellent President! You, as Afghanistan's first man, have yet to raise your voice about the assassination of Abouzar and the thousands of other innocent children," Abdullah said."You don't have the right to call Afghanistan's murderers "brothers." Meanwhile, Abdullah's Second Vice-President Haji Mohammad Mohaqaq said that their campaign team will not remain silent if there is fraud or cheating in the elections. "Voting is the right of Afghans," Mohaqaq said. "It would unacceptable if we see any fraud and cheating."
