US envoy, former AJK PM discuss issues

ISLAMABAD - The US Deputy Ambassador, Richard Hoagland held a detailed meeting with former Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister and central leader of Pakistan People's Party AJK chapter Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhary at his residence.According to a statement, during the detailed meeting, the resolution of Kashmir issue was discussed in the backdrop of current security situation in the South Asia. The two dignitaries also discussed matters of mutual interest along with the important events in this region. Sultan strongly demanded of the US diplomat to "tender apology over the reckless killings of Pakistani soldiers in Selala last year and shun double standard for the resolution of Kashmir issue." He also told Hoagland that the US would never succeed in Afghanistan and it must pull out of the country and give up highhanded tactics and coercive measures against what he termed as genocide of Pakhtuns.
