DERA GHAZI KHAN/SAHIWAL - Four persons of the same family including a girl and her brother were killed in an attack by rivals and a man and his son were crushed to death in a road accident while four others of another family including two women were killed in another road mishap here on Sunday.According to details, in DG Khan four persons including a girl and her minor brother were gunned down while six others injured allegedly over an old enmity in the wee hours here on Sunday. The gruesome murders incident took place in village Bohar Gaadi Morr, Taunsa Sharif in the remit of Saddr Police.The Taunsa Sharif Police registered a case but the DSP claimed that the accused were proclaimed offender who fled away after the committing the crime.According to the police and the family members, around eight accused entered the house of Ashraf Sanjrani, located near Gaadi Morr in Mauza Bohar when all the family members were asleep. The intruders allegedly started indiscriminate firing, killing 60-year-old Allah Bakhsh Sanjrani, 16-year-old Tahir alias Tari, 18-year-old Sumaira Bibi, daughter of Akbar and her six-year-old brother Shahbaz on the spot while her brother Sohail, mother Shameem, Mukhtiar Ahmed, Parveen and Haleema Bibi were injured who were earlier shifted to THQ Hospital Taunsa Sharif and later on referred to Nishter Hospital Multan due to their critical condition. The assailants after committing the four murders, allegedly resorted to fire in ‘jubilation’ for a while which created panic in the area.Reportedly both the deceased and the accused belong to Sanjrani Tribe and over 12 persons from both groups have fallen prey to the enmity so far.Taunsa Sharif DSP Waseem Ejaz Jhakkar told the media that the accused were proclaimed offenders and police teams had been constituted to arrest them. He asked the local elected public representatives to play their role for ending the bloodshed through reconciliation between the warring groups.In another incident, a man along his son was killed and two others were injured when a car they were travelling in was hit by a moving train near Kala Colony on Sunday. The injured were shifted to Trauma Centre where their condition is stated to be critical. According to eye-witnesses, Khushal Khan Khattak express crushed the car at Kala Colony, some 40 km from here in the North in the middle of Kot Addu-Dera Ghazi Khan Junction, killing Basher Ahmed Joyia and his son Shehzad Ahmed Joyia dead on the spot. Two other car passengers identified as Zakki Mohammad and Ghulam Fareed were injured. The accident so severe that the rescuers had to cut body of the car into two pieces to pull out the bodies and injured. The police have not registered case till filing of this report.In Sahiwal, four persons including two women were crushed to death in collision between car and bus on Sahiwal-Arifwala Road in remit of Dera Rahim Police here the other day. As per details, the ill-fated family was going towards Arifwala from Chak 6/11-L in a car (LEC-4266), when they reached near Chak 101/9-L on Sahiwal-Arifwala Road, a speeding bus (FDP-2476) coming from the opposite direction rammed into the car. Resultantly the car was totally smashed and a youth namely Rizwan, his wife Shamaila, cousin Aqeel and his sister-in-law Samina, wife of Kashif died on the spot while five-year-old Adeel survived miraculously.This news was published in The Nation newspaper.
