Lahore: Today, former president Supreme Court Bar Asma Jahangir said, “We reject the formation of Judicial Commission on Daska incident.”
Talking to newsmen today she said that government forms judicial commission daily to investigate issues.
The commission should be formed with members of civil society in it, who should be probing the causes of Daska incident.
She further said that courts are not providing quick justice. Judicial commission should not be required on the Daska incident, as the government has made mockery of the JC.
There is no need to investigate the Daska incident through judicial commission as two lawyers were killed with the firing of policeman at daytime.
Asma Jahangir said that justice is not provided by the courts, as the eyes of Government and courts are closed.
