QUETTA - Robbers killed an assistant sub-inspector in the provincial capital Tuesday night, police said. According to police, ASI Muhammad Hassan of the Sindh police was passing from Qambrani Road when unknown armed men intercepted him. The gunmen shot and injured him critically when he resisted their bid to snatch his car, police said, adding that Hassan was rushed to hospital while he succumbed to wounds. The robbers made away with his vehicle. Police handed over the body to his heirs after completing legal formalities.
