ISLAMABAD: The government on Wednesday devised a ‘strict plan’ to deal with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s planned lockdown of Islamabad on November 2.
According to sources, the government has issued orders to place central leaders of PTI and Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid-e-Azam) under house arrest, two days before the sit-in.
It has also been decided to detain PTI’s active party workers ahead of the sit-in.
Besides, the capital administration is considering shutting Lahore-Islamabad motorway to bar protesters from entering Islamabad.
