GUJRAT (Online) - Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi on Tuesday lashed out at the Punjab government, saying that the provincial government had completely failed to maintain law and order situation in the province.He was addressing a ceremony held to observe 31tst death anniversary of Chaudhry Zahoor Elahi here in Gujrat on Tuesday. Chaudhry Pervez Elahi criticised the Punjab government for “what he called” its failure during violent protests on Youm-e-Ishq-e-Rasool (SAWW).The former Punjab CM said that the federal government always got success with the support of the people and in the upcoming general elections the masses will also support it.Elahi said that the government was committed to fulfilling its promises and coming up to the expectations of the masses. He claimed that a number of steps had been taken for the uplift of the common man.
