Nawaz skipped Modi’s name in UNGA speech: Ex-CM

GUJRAT-PML-Q and former Punjab chief minister Pervaiz Elahi yesterday criticised that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif did not utter a single word against Modi during his speech to UN General Assembly session.
Addressing the party workers on 65th death anniversary of Zahoor Elahi here in Gujrat, Pervaiz Elahi said that all the political parties are united against India despite differences.
He said that national intelligence departments provided the premier all the evidence against India but Nawaz Sharif didn’t mention the name of Kulbhushan Yadav in the UNGA session.
“The government had to contact UN soon after the Indian spy was caught but it was totally neglected,” he regretted.
The former Punjab CM claimed that corruption has broken record in Qauid-e-Azam solar energy park and Nandipur projects. He also challenged Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif for open debate.
