Islamabad- Amid a barrage of accusations and political agitation, PM Nawaz Sharif is all set to leave for Turkey on thursday to participate in the inauguration of Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the presidency, his most favourite ally in the Muslim nations.
Officials at the foreign ministries of Pakistan and Turkey confirmed  that the embattled premier will touch down in Ankara. Erdogan, though largely credited for Turkey’s economic turnaround since 2001 in premier office, has been accused of serious irregularities in pre-election process. Not only the state-run and private media, with a few exceptions, siding with him during the election campaign, According to Turkey’s state media, 15 presidents will attend the oath-taking ceremony in Turkish Grand National Assembly.
