BANNU: The Special Police Unit (SPU) arrested an extortionist besides recovering cell phones and sims used in the crime.

CTD sources said that they conducted operation in Mamash Khel locality of Bannu.

During operation, an extremist identified Pir Mubarik Shah was arrested with mobile phone and sims used in the crime. The detained extortionist had demanded ten million rupees as extortion from a local trader.

The detainee was being interrogated after registering a case against him.
