MULTAN - Like other parts of the country, the lawyers of Multan observed a complete strike as a sign of protest against assassination of their three colleagues in Karachi here on Thursday. The black coats boycotted court work as no attorney appeared before any court of law. Resultantly, the court work got paralysed and the hearing of all cases was adjourned.The lawyers strongly protested against target killing in Karachi and shouted slogans against government. They were also holding placards and banners inscribed with their demands, asking the government to arrest the killers immediately. They warned that the lawyers would go on strike for an indefinite period if the assassins were not punished.DBA protests in Sargodha: The lawyers Thursday observed strike and boycotted the court proceedings in protest against the murder of three lawyers in Karachi. On the call of District Bar Association, the lawyers’ fraternity strongly condemned the killings and demanded the government immediate arrest of the culprits and sought security for lawyers.
