MANDI BAHAUDDIN - All civil judges serving in the district tendered their resignations to senor civil judge the other day in protest against tough and insulting attitude of the district & sessions judge.
The judges struck off their work and held a meeting with the senior civil judge to vent their anger and grievances over questionable attitude of the DSJ. Reportedly, the judges also complained that some lawyers belonging to a pressure group did not maintain decorum of the courts and lodged false complaints against them when they (judges) did not give verdict of their choice.
It is reported that some judges announced the decisions verbally and not in written shape, over this the DSJ served show cause notices to them.
The judges, however, resumed their work at 1pm after the successful negotiations between DSJ and senior civil judge.
When contacted, the DSJ refused to give his comments on the situation.
