RAWALPINDI  - Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani visited Abbottabad Thursday in connection with Commanding Officers' Conference of the Frontier Force Regiment. The Commanding Officers' Conference is a formal event for interaction between unit commanders and senior officers, aiming at professional and administrative improvement within the units of a particular regiment.
with special emphasis on issues affecting the soldiers.
The COAS appreciated the efforts of the Regiment in fighting militancy and the commitment and valour of its officers and soldiers. Earlier, the COAS was received by Lieutenant General Alam Khattak and other senior officers on his arrival.
