Earthquake shocks felt in parts of Punjab

Massive earthquake jolts have been felt in Lahore and its surrounding areas. The earthquake didn't last for a long time, but one major tremor was felt in Lahore, before the quake died down.

The earthquake has been measured at 4.0 on Richter's scale. Faisalabad, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahab and other parts of the province also felt the tremors.

While no damage has been reported so far, the region has been engulfed in fear again.

Earthquakes have been recurring frequently in Pakistan and the South Asian region since the October 26th quake, whose epicentre was Hindu Kush. Almost 400 people were killed in the 7.5-magnitude earthquake last year, most of them being in Pakistan.
