LAHORE: At least five laborers were scorched when an electricity transformer exploded here on Wednesday.

Rescue sources said that five laborers were taking meal while sitting by roadside in Daroghawala area of the provincial capital Lahore, when transformer installed near the scene blasted due to unknown reasons.

Due to the blast, all the five laborers were scorched and shifted to hospital where condition of two injured laborers was stated to critical.
