ISLAMABAD- The federal government has written a letter to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government to observe the first of Ramzan on the same day across Pakistan.
Provincial Religious Affairs Minister Habibul Rehman says his government is willing to cooperate with the federal government for a unanimous decision. Rehman told sources that the federal government had requested KP not to start Ramzan a day before the rest of the country. The KP government has called a meeting of the Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal committee on Saturday.
