QUETTA: Death toll in blast near Almo Chow in Quetta reached seven, as another victim succumbed to his injuries at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) today morning.

Eight year-old child Rizwan was shifted to CMH three days ago in critical condition, but he could not survive.

On Friday, a device weighing six kilograms went off with a big bang killing six on Airport Road near Almo Chowk.

Senior local police official Chaudhry Manzoor said there did not appear to be a target, adding: "The purpose was to trigger panic and terror."
