MANDI BAHAUDDIN - The residents of Wasu village have demanded construction of a link road between Wasu and District Complex.
The villagers are of the view that the village is about two kilometres away but due poor condition of the road the residents and school-going children have to travel on foot since it is not fit for vehicles.
Chaudhry Muhammad Aslam Faiz Gondal when taking to media person said that he along with other residents had been requesting authorities concerned for construction of the link road but so far no work had been initiated.
He said that the road was a shortest route that linked District Complex and Jinnah Public school and thousands people from villages of the area travel on it daily to attend courts.
