PES imparts training to PAF school students

RAWALPINDI - The Punjab Emergency Service (PES) Rescue 1122 imparted Basic Life Support, Fire Safety Orientation Training to the students of PAF Finishing School on Wednesday.  The students of PAF Finishing School have been trained through presentation, lectures, and practical station by trainers of Rescue 1122. Purpose of such trainings was to develop professional approach to first responders of different areas especially employees of different organizations like police, traffic police, university, government organizations and colleges so that they could be helpful in case of any untoward incident.
The training of students of PAF Finishing School has been conducted into two days under the supervision of Deeba Shahnaz Akhter, Emergency Officer Community Training.
The Officials have gone through the practical skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, wound management, fracture management and management of foreign body airway obstruction and first aid treatment in case of electric shock, snake bite, burn and drowning incidents.
Speaking on the occasion, Rescue 1122 District Emergency Officer (DEO) Dr Abdur Rehman said that emergency management training helped to develop professional approach to deal with any untoward incident so the community training wing Rawalpindi was trying to sensitize maximum people for developing safer communities in the city.
