QUETTA : Iranian security forces handed over 52 Pakistani citizens to Pakistan officials at Taftan border who had entered Iran illegally while 19 Uzbek nationals were rounded up by security forces in Chagai district on Sunday. Iranian security forces handed over 52 Pakistani nationals to Levies officials at Taftan border. Nineteen Uzbek nationals were arrested by security forces in Chagai district bordering with Iran. Sources said security forces arrested 17 Uzbeks due to their suspicious activities. “Uzbek nationals were arrested under foreign act who were travelling to Iran without having travel documents,” sources said, adding that they had been handed over to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for further investigation.This news was published in The Nation newspaper.
