Narco minister Khuda Bux Ragar quits


ISLAMABAD - Federal Minister for Narcotics Control Haji Khuda Bux Ragar’s resignation was received at PM House here on Monday evening, sources in the govt informed.
PML-F MNA from NA-235 (Sanghar-II) has tendered his resignation as Federal Minister for Narcotics Control along with party’s Sindh Cabinet members in protest of the Sindh People’s Local Government Law.
On the direction of party chief Pir Pagara all Federal as well as provincial ministers of the party had tendered resignation the day PPP and MQM had got the controversial law passed from the Sindh Assembly, a party spokesman said.
But after the failure of their senior coalition partner in Sindh to rectify the things PML-F ministers resignations were forwarded to their concerned destinations.
The resignation of Haji Khuda Bux Ragar was received at Prime Minister’s Secretariat, a source in government confirmed.
The provincial ministers and advisors who had tendered their resignations on the issue included Minister for Science and Technology Jam Madad Ali, Minister Auqaf Rafique Banbhan of the PML-F sent their resignations to Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah. Their resignations were accompanied by those of Minister for Alternate Energy Shaharyar Mahar (PML-Q), Minister for Livestock Abid Jatoi (NPP).
Imtiaz Shaikh advisor to CM, Abdul Razzaque Nasir Nizamani advisor to CM on mines (PML-F), Noor Hassan Khaskheli special assistant to CM (PML-F) and Khadim Hussain Aradin Special assistant to CM, all of the PML-F submitted their resignations.
