Rahim Yar Khan- The driver and the assistant driver sustained injuries in a blast near the locomotive of Zakriya Express, late last night.
Police said the explosion occurred near Adam Sahaba station. Railway traffic was suspended, however, it was restored after a short period of time. Police further said that the blast left a 5-feet deep and 4-feet wide crater. The engine of the train was also damaged. General Manager Railways has confirmed that train traffic has been restored after Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) cleared the track. The injured were taken to Shaikh Zaid Hospital. Police said it was a remote-controlled blast. Baloch Republican Army has claimed the responsibility of the blast.
