Police arrest 12 POs among 179 outlaws



PESHAWAR - Peshawar police Monday arrested 179 criminals including 12 proclaimed offenders and recovered sophisticated weapons and liquor bottles from their possession. 
Following the directives of Chief Capital City Police Imtiaz Iltaf, Station House Officer of Urmar, Mechani, Mattni and Sirband Police Station raided various locations in their jurisdiction, where they arrested wanted criminal Mohammad Naved son of Noor Rahman, Jehazeb and Orangzeb.
Police also raided several areas in Mattni and Sirband area where they arrested Zahorullah son of Latifullah, Hawas son of Tawas Khan, resident of Sheuikh Mohammadi, Tariq son of Abdul Salam and Abdul Salam son of Abdul Manan.
Beside these proclaimed offenders police also arrested 160 suspected persons who have been shifted for interrogation. Police recovered 12 AK-47 riffles, 48 Pistols, 840 cartridges, 15 kilogramme charas and 23 bottles of lacquer.
