Four miners suffocated to death in Chamalang

QUETTA - Four labourers, including three Afghans, died of suffocation at Chamalang coalfield on Monday.
According to officials, four coalminers were busy with their work in the Chamalang coalfield when methane gas filled the mine. Workers from nearby mines rushed to the site and retrieved the bodies. The deceased were identified as Afghan nationals Wali Jan, Musa Khan, Naseebullah and Zahir Khan from Harnai.
Meanwhile, Two people, including a woman, were killed in Bolan on Monday while the son of a noted Hindu trader was kidnapped from Jhal Magsi.
According to police sources, Muhammad Karim, a resident of Mehr Ghar in Bolan, killed his daughter and Hanif for ‘honour.’
In another incident, Ashok Kumar, the son of Hindu trader Newnad Ram, was kidnapped in Gandawa area of Jhal Magsi.
According to reports, Ashok Kumar was on his way when gunmen kidnapped him.
After the incident, a complete shutter-down strike was observed in Gandawa. The protesters condemned the incident and demanded immediate recovery of the abductee.
Police have launched a hunt for the culprits.
