PESHAWAR - Scholar Sadaf Durrani has been recommended for the award of Ph.D in Chemistry after successful defence of her thesis in a ceremony held at the Video Conferencing Hall University of Peshawar. The topic of her research was “Association of Adiponectin with Glycosylated Hemoglobin in Diabetics with and without Coronary Heart Disease”. Prof. Dr Jasmin Shah of the Institute of Chemical Sciences University of Peshawar was her Ph.D supervisor while Chairman Department of Biochemistry Khyber Medical College Dr Muddassir Ahmed served as her co-supervisor. Dr Muhammad Ahmed, Chairman Biochemistry Department at the Peshawar Medical College was the scholar`s external examiner.Vice Chancellor UoP Prof. Dr Muhammad Rasul Jan also witnessed the defence. In his closing remarks, he commended the research contribution of Institute of Chemical Sciences towards improvement in the ranking of the University.
