I advised Nawaz Sharif to deliver speech on May 11 election night: Information Minister

Islamabad- Minister for information and broadcasting, Pervaiz Rasheed said that he had advised Nawaz Sharif to deliver speech on May 11 election night.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad, Rasheed responded to the four questions raised by Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf, Imran khan during his public meeting in Bahawalpur. Pervaiz Rasheed said that most of the news channels on May 11 were predicting PML-N’s success.

He said that Imran Khan should spend two billion rupees for IDPs instead of wasting it on long march. He added that the caretaker PM was chosen by judiciary and caretaker Punjab CM Najam Sethi was nominated by Pakistan Peoples Party.

The Federal Minister questioned: if PML-N rigged elections in Punjab then how did PTI candidates win in Rawalpindi.

Pervaiz Rasheed said Imran Khan is becoming a hurdle in the progress of Pakistan and advised the later to focus on his party’s performance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said that PML-N had never been interested in frivolous issues halting national progress.
