PESHAWAR - At least four women were killed and another injured in a firing incident at Hussainia Street Hasht Nagri area of Peshawar on Saturday evening.
Police said an accused Fazal Qadir shot dead four women after exchanging hot words with them over a property dispute at Hussainia Street Hasht Nagri area of the metropolis. The deceased ware said to be sisters. They were identified as Rani, Samreen, Ruqia and Farhana. Police have registered FIR and started investigation.
Police said neighbours opened fire at each other after exchange of harsh words as a result of which five women sustained injuries. The injured ladies were shifted to Lady Readying Hospital where three of them died of wounds.
Later, the fourth woman also succumbed to her injuries.
