LONDON- Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s London-based leader, Altaf Hussain has urged both, the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif led government and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), to avoid a violent collision on November 30 in Islamabad.
“‘It my earnest appeal to the protestors to remain calm and the government to exercise restraint during Sunday's PTI rally in the constitutional quarters of federal capital,” Hussain said in a statement issued here. The MQM chief said he just could not warn the stakeholders strongly enough, against giving Islamabad a blood-and-fire-bath.
"Khan Sahib is requested to protest peacefully and PM Sharif to have patience. I just want all the stakeholders to understand that this country belongs to all of us equally. Here everyone was free to do whatever they like as long as it doesn't run counter to the law of the land,” Hussain said.
