Students told how to better fight challenges

Speakers have called upon the students to understand and protect their Khudi - self respect or realisation of self around which the whole literary works of Allama Iqbal (RA) revolves - so as to better fight all the challenges with courage and bravery.
Addressing students and teachers in connection Iqbal Day, they called upon the teachers to strive for character building of the students according to the vision of great thinker Dr Allama Iqbal (RA).
Prominent among those who address the gathering included Principal Syeda Iram Sherazi, Government Boys College Principal Ayub Tahir, Government Islamia College for Women Principal Zahida Bhatti, DPS Principal Tasaddaq Hussain Khokhar and the district coordination officer. The students also enthralled the audience by singing national songs and also presented tableau.

Later, the DCO gave away trophies and certificates to the shinning students.
Meanwhile, the District Coordination Committee approved a sum of Rs258 million for the expansion and renovation of 14.5 km Kariala-Hafizabad-Khanqa Dogran via Jurian-Kot Hassan Khan-Khanjar Banjar and 17.2 km long Pindi Bhattian-Beranwala Road via Mustafaabad.
These projects would be completed during the current financial under CM Punjab Rural Roads Programme. The meeting which was chaired by MNA Mian Shahid Hussain Bhatti was attended among others by MPAs Malik Fiaz Ahmad Awan, Asadullah Arain, DCO Muhammad Usman, EDO Finance Fakharul Islam Dogar, Executive Engineer Provincial Highways and DO Planning.
The meeting was told that under the Khadam-i-Punjab Rural Road Programme, a sum of Rs197 million has already been spent on the renovation and expansion of Sheikhupra-Hafizabad Road upto Head Nanoaana and Rasulpur Tarar-Raja Tarar Road.
