The Shalimar Express survived a terror attack on Sunday as explosives planted near the railway track went off just 15 minutes before arrival of the train.
Terrorists had planted a bomb at railway track near Nawaz Dahri Railway Station here and it went off 15 minutes before arrival of the Shalimar Express.
Bomb Disposal Squad incharge inspector Raja Asif said a section of track about four and half feet in length was damaged.
All up and down trains were stopped at different railway stations. However, rail traffic was resumed after a few hours, repairing the damaged track.
