Five children and a woman burnt alive in Muzaffargarh house inferno

 MUZAFFARGARH:  At least six people of a family including five children and woman were burnt to death after fire swept away in a house in the Kot Addu area of Sanawan in district Muzaffargarh on Friday.

 Rescue workers recovered the bodies of five children, ages ranging from one to 14 years old, and a 25-year-old woman from the debris of the house shared by two brothers and their families near the Pir Mitha Darbar shrine.  

According to District Police Officer (DPO) Awais Ahmed, the fire started in a room with wood and plastic materials the brothers used to make screens for room coolers.

 Firefighters were able to contain the fire.
