Asseemanand gets bail in Samjhota blast case

New Delhi : The Punjab and Haryana High Court in India on Thursday granted bail to Hindu extremist leader Swami Aseemanand, one of the accused in the Samjhota train blast case, reported Hindustan Times. Aseemanand and three others were facing trial in a special court in Haryana’s Panchkula town. The bombs placed in suitcases went off in two bogies of the train to Pakistan, killing 68 people, majority of them Pakistani nationals.
