Rangers declare Dr. Asim Hussain medically fit

KARACHI: The Rangers have filed a medical report of former petroleum minister Dr Asim Hussain in an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Karachi declaring him medically fit.

Rangers’ deputy assistant director medical services carried out the medical examination of Dr Hussain and his blood pressure and sugar level was noted as normal. The Rangers’ law officer informed the court that all medicines needed by Dr Hussain have been provided to him and there was no need to move him to a hospital.

The court was further informed that a medical team has been formed to take care of the accused, who is in Rangers custody on a 90-day physical remand on different corruption charges.
