COAS general Raheel Sharif has just concluded his meeting with the newly elected president of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), during which he congratulated Masood Khan on becoming the president for AJK, reported Waqt news.

Khan was elected the 23rd president of AJK earlier this month. The Pakistan Mislim League – N candidate won 42 votes against six of his rival Chaudary Latif Akbar from Pakistan People’s Party.  

Khan is a former diplomat and has represented Pakistan on various ambassadorial positions throughout the world.
