Peshawar Traffic Police launch mobile licence service

PESHAWAR - SP traffic Peshawar Sadiq Baloch said that after the directives of Inspector General of Police Nasir Khan Durrani, traffic police have launched mobile licence service in rural area of Peshawar and other districts. He said that mobile licence facility will help people get their driving licence at doorstep. He said that these new mobile licence vehicles have all available facilities.
He said that now the masses will not face any difficulties in receiving driving licence and they will be facilitated in all parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said that a complaint cell has been established under the supervision of DSP Traffic Rahim Hussain and this cell will address all complaints of the people regarding any problems in licence.
KP IGP awards policemen for best performance
Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani on Monday awarded police officials on excellent performance against dacoits, proclaimed offenders and heroin smugglers in a ceremony held at the CPO Peshawar yesterday.
According to details, the Lower Dir police had arrested an accused within 20 hours who had snatched Rs6 million from one Jami Ullah and on resistance also shot him dead. The police reached to the accused through a mobile phone SIM, arrested him and also recovered the money from him.
Similarly, the Mardan police had arrested a proclaimed offender-cum-extortionist namely Waqar son of Zarwar, resident of Garyala Mardan charged in ten different cases. Besides killing two police jawans he had also killed five persons in one case. Likewise, the D.I.Khan police had recovered 115kg heroin and arrested the accused on the spot. Addressing on the occasion the IG Police Nasir Durrani appreciated the excellent performance of the police in the above-mentioned cases and directed the awardees to further pull up their sleeves against the outlaws and foil their nefarious designs.
The IGP awarded the police officials with cash prizes and commendation certificates.
They included Mardan DSP rural Fazl-e-Wahid, SHO Ghafir Ullah, ASIs Azam Khan and Javed Khan, Timergara SDPO Adenzai Hidayat Ullah Shah, SHO inspector Roshan Zada, SHO inspector Said Zaman and inspector Naeem Khan and D.I.Khan police sub inspector Muhammad Ramzan and constables Muhammad Aslam and Muhammad Din.
