MULTAN:  Police arrested four culprits for preparing kites and metallic strings, during a raid at kite factory in Gur Mandi today.

More than 50,000 kites along with thousands of meters of string were recovered from the factory. Owner of the factory Muhammad Waseem was also among the arrested.

It may be mentioned that the Punjab government has imposed a ban on kites business and flying to prevent incidents which often result in loss of precious lives, injuries, life time disabilities and disruption in power supply. Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed the authorities to take strict action against the violators of the ban.
