Islamabad- Pakistan has said it supports reforms in the United Nations to make it a more vibrant body, but it could not support permanent membership for India in the Security Council.
Foreign Office spokesperson Tasneem Aslam said, in the weekly media briefing in Islamabad today that India has been continuously violating UN resolution on Kashmir.
She questioned, how a country that has been violating UN resolutions could become permanent member of the UN Security Council. She said India has increased its defence budget by 12 percent. To a question, she said China is playing important role in bringing peace and stability in the region.
