District Coordination Officer Naseem Sadiq on Friday said that crack down on stray dogs continues in all the nine towns and a notable reduction in biting cases has been observed.
He expressed these views while reviewing the report regarding elimination of stray dogs at DCO Office. The DCO said that people were now feeling more secure and comfortable due to elimination of stray dogs. “9 dogs were killed by giving poison and 40 dogs were shot in Data Gunj Bukhsh Town, 6 poisoned and 45 shot in Gulberg Town, 7 dogs poisoned and 41 shot in Aziz Bhatti Town, 9 dogs poisoned and 47 shot in Ravi Town and 12 dogs poisoned and 38 shot in Allama Ibqla Town”, he added.–Staff Reporter
