Former National Assembly speaker Chaudhry Ameer Hussain has said that India was involved in the terrorist activities in Pakistan. Addressing a meeting in Bajwat-Sialkot, he asked the government to bring the facts before the nation, besides raising the curtain from the faces of those directly or indirectly involved in ghastly terrorism. He said that the presence of Indian spy in Pakistan and his arrest were ample proofs of direct and indirect involvement of India in promoting and spreading terrorism in Pakistan for destabilizing the country socially, economically and politically. He said that the whole nation stands united against terrorism and was ready to sacrifice even their lives for uprooting terrorism, militancy, extremism and insurgency from the country while battling shoulder to shoulder the armed forces. He said that India was busy ruining peace in its neighbours including Pakistan. He asked India to be a good neighbour. He strongly condemned the brutal killings of the innocent people including women and children in ghastly Gulshan-i-Iqbal Park Lahore suicidal bomb attack. He said that the terrorists had no religion as they were the killers of the humanity.
Govt not to rest until terror eliminated: Rajwana
Multan: Punjab Governor Malik Rafiq Rajwana has said that the government will not sit calmly until the terrorists are eliminated from the country.
Talking to the media after offering special prayer for the victims of Lahore tragedy here at Circuit House on Monday, he added that the cowardly acts of terrorists could not intimidate the nation. “We’ll fight against our enemy and eliminate him,” he declared. He said that all eye were in tears on Lahore tragedy and the hearts of entire nation went out to the aggrieved families. He declared that the Operation Zarb-e-Azb would continue till killing of last terrorist as they shed the blood of innocent citizens. The Governor was of the opinion that setting aside all other issues, we would have to keep eye on our enemy. “The terrorists are trying to intimidate us by posing threat to national security,” he pointed out. He said that the terrorists were playing in the hands of the enemy but they would be hunted down soon and the country would move on path of progress. MPAs, MNAs and other dignitaries were also present on this occasion.–Staff Reporter
