Kids vaccination against polio urged

PESHAWAR - Maulana Jehanzeb appealed to parents to vaccinate their children in the polio eradication campaign from June 4 to 6 in district Peshawar.
Addressing a news conference here on Monday at press club, Mulana Jehanzeb said that with the efforts of learned Ulemas parents refusing to vaccinate their children against polio disease, are now giving good response and welling to administer their children during special rounds.
He added that a special drive was being carried out against polio from Monday (May 28) in 40 high risk union councils of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. A heavy influx of tribal people from Federally Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA), due to ongoing military operation was the reason for high risk.

He maintained that recently they had visited Palosai and Khazana areas and met with refused parents removed their misperceptions.
