SUKKUR- Senior Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) leader Khalid Mehmood Soomro was shot dead in Khosa Goth today.
Soomro, the secretary general for the Sindh chapter of the JUI-F, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen while he was going to offer Fajr prayers. Wedding ceremony of his son was to be held today. His body was shifted to a hospital where a large number of the party workers gathered.
PM Nawaz Sharif, MQM chief Altaf Hussain and other key politicians condemned the killing.
