AHMEDPUR EAST - Pakistan Muslim League (QA) has awarded its ticket to Chaudhry Ehsanul Haq in the by-election of PP-275 Yezman. This decision was made in a meeting held under the chairmanship of PML-Q Central President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussein while Central Vice President Chaudhry Tariq Bashir Cheema, MPA Dr Mohammad Afzal, District President Syed Salahuddin Ahmed Jeelani and General Secretary Tariq Majeed and other local leaders represented Bahawalpur district while party Punjab President Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, Chaudhry Zaheer Uddin, Mohammad Basharat Raja, Akram Chaudhry and other leaders were also present on the occasion. On the occasion, Ch Shujaat Hussain expressed his hope that inhabitants of Yezman would back the candidature of Ch Ehsanul Haq as Ch Pervaiz Elahi being Chief Minister Punjab had allocated Rs9 billion for the uplift of Bahawalpur district. Speaking on the occasion, former Punjab CM Pervaiz Elahi lashed out at the Punjab government and said that the government had failed protect the people from dengue across the province. He stated that Shahbaz Sharif government did not launch any new mega project in the province and introduced new techniques of tempering the examination results besides committing rigging in the by-elections. He asked the PML-Q leaders and workers to foil the nefarious designs of the Punjab government in the by-election of PP-275 Yezman and spare no effort for the success of teh party nominee. The participants of the meeting also greeted Ch Moonis Elahi on his acquittal in NICL case.
