WASHINGTON: State Department spokesman John Kirby said that Washington is not dictating Pakistan a timeline on fighting terrorists.
During a briefing, the spokesman said the United States stands with Pakistan against the threat of terrorism and will continue to support it as needed.
He said that the United States acknowledges that Pakistan has fallen victim and continues to fall victim to terrorism.
On Pakistan-US relationship, the spokesman said that the relationship deepens and grows and becomes stronger in respect of countering violent extremism.
