Bilour for legislation to nip the evil in the bud

PESHAWAR – Awami National Party central leader and Federal Minister for Railways, Haji Ghulam Ahmad Bilour has said that he stands by his words regarding the bounty on the blasphemous filmmaker and does not care about being banned to enter any country including the United Kingdom.
He said this while addressing Khatm-e-Nabowwat Conference here at historic Masjid-e-Mohabat Khan on Friday. He said that he did not want to fight against any country or any religion, but he wanted proper legislation to curb blasphemous acts, as such kinds of films could sabotage the world peace. He added that neither the Prime Minister contacted him for resignation nor his party demanded any show cause notice.
Regarding the statement of Taliban, Haji Ghulam Bilour said that Taliban had no power to kill him as all these things had been written by Allah almighty, adding that they could neither kill him nor could they protect him if he was destined to death. He said there was nothing bigger and greater than the love of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and he was ready for any sacrifice for the honour of his beloved Prophet (PBUH).
He maintained that Allah has given him respect owing to his statement and there is no question that he would eat his words. He said if any other person committed such a heinous crime he would again announce head money for his killing. He said that there were greater personalities in the world, but this was the God’s mercy upon him that he was given such a great honor. He mentioned that if proper legislation was not carried out in this regard, this kind of issues would definitely sabotage the peace of the world.
To a question regarding Bushra Gohar remarks against Haji Ghulam Bilour, he said that it is the party internal issue and it would be discussed in the party meetings.
He said that his announcement was based on love with Holy Prophet Muhammad Peace Be upon Him and no one could stop him from such kind of statements. He said that life and death is in God almighty power and he has no concern with Taliban remarks as they have no power to give life and death to people.
