RAWALPINDI  – Town Municipal Administration of Rawal Town has issued notices to six secretaries of various union councils on violation of marriage halls closure timings as the administration has expedited its campaign being carried out to check the marriage halls not observing closure timings of 10 PM as per government instructions.According to a TMA Spokesman, six secretaries of different union councils of the city have been issued notices as there were reports of the violations of marriage ordinance in their areas. The management of different marriage halls in connivance with the secretaries was violating the orders of the government and not observing the marriage halls closure timings.The Rawal Town administrator Saif Anwar Jappa has warned the owners of marriage halls of strict action for not observing timings as per government instructions.The Punjab government has ordered closure of marriage halls by 10:00 p.m. as per power load management plan. The managements would be given notices at first stage and then cases would be lodged against them along with the parents of brides and bridegrooms if they continued violating the law. The Marriage halls would also be sealed on the violations. The Tehsil municipal officers have also been directed to ensure strict compliance of the government orders with the marriage hall managements.
