At least three children were killed and two others including a woman and her newborn baby were injured when roof of a house collapsed here in Nowshera on Monday.
According to police, roof of a dilapidated house located in Mamrez area of Nowshera suddenly came down burying the residents under the rubble.
Three children including Ikramuddin, 15, Salma, 09 and Fasiullah were killed in the roof collapse while their mother and a newborn baby survived with injuries. The house owner remained safe as he was at his shop at the time of the roof collapse. The relatives and local people on self assistance basis dug out the bodies and injured from the debris and shifted them to hospital.
