London- Mr. Ishaq Dar, Finance Minister called on the Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in London and briefed him on cumulative reduction in fuel prices in the last three months. The Prime Minister was informed that the economic policies, stabilization of currency and increase in the foreign exchange reserves had stimulated the recent reduction in petroleum prices in the country.

Prime Minister directed the Finance Minister that the benefits of the strong economy should reach the common man. The Finance Minister suggested the reduction in the fuel prices after the consultation with OGRA and Ministry of Petroleum. Nawaz Sharif approved the reduction in petroleum prices.
