ISLAMABAD - Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider yesterday praised Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s decision to send parliamentarians to world capitals to highlight ongoing onslaught of Indian occupation forces on the innocent Kashmiris in the occupied Kashmir.
He called on Prime Minister yesterday at the Prime Minister’s House to apprise him of his government’s strategy and plans to raise voice for the Kashmiri people facing brutal atrocities at the hands of Indian occupation forces.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif reiterated his government’s commitment to the cause of Kashmiris and pledged to continue diplomatic, political and moral support to the people who are fighting for their right to self-determination pledged to them by the United Nations.
During the meeting, the ongoing development projects in Azad Kashmir also came under discussion and Prime Minister extending all out support to the people of Kashmir in this regard.
AJK Premier Raja Farooq Haider gave a detailed briefing to the Prime Minister on the development projects under way in various parts of AJK.
