LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) central leader Jehangir Tareen today said that the NA-122 case, regarding the transfer of votes is being pending deliberately.
Talking to media persons outside Election Commission after hearing of NA-122 case, Jehangir Tareen said that the party was hoping for a judgment but due to the absence of Justice Riaz Kayani, the other members refused to listen the case, as a result of which the case was adjourned till January 8.
He alleged that reason behind the delay was Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), as Justice Kayani is used wherever the government needs relief.
He also stated that no justification has been provided yet for the missing 2500-3000 votes. The PTI leader further said that Rangers have done well in Karachi therefore; the operation should not be left unfinished and should be taken to its logical conclusion.
