APC urges unity to undo country’s crisis


QUETTA - Political and religious leaders at All Parties Conference (APC) have stressed that in the view of deteriorating law and order situation in Balochistan joint struggle is essential to get rid the country out of all crises. “We are fighting others war for the last fifteen years that has given us only dead bodies and damages to the country,” they added.
These views were expressed by Mir Naseer Mengal leader of PML-Q, PPP leader Senator Sardar Fateh Muhammad Hassani, Khuda-e-Noor of PML-Q, Ghulam Nabi of BNP-Mengal and other in APC organized by Majlis Wadatul Muslimeen, here on Tuesday.
PML-Q leader, Mir Naseer Mengal said that we should become one nation for formation of a greater Pakistan and later the situation would improve itself. “We should be practical to get rid of crises inflicted Balochistan and Pakistan instead of making rhetoric,” he added.
He said that there was solution of all problems in Islamic and tribal traditions adding that Baloch society never allowed depriving any innocent of his life. We all would have to play a role in brining improvement in the situation, he stressed.
PPP leader Senator Sardar Fateh Muhammad Hassani said that PPP also desirous like other parties of the country to bring peace in the country and Balochistan.
He said that though the country was passing through a critical phase yet we all should play our responsibility to steer the country out of all crises. “Fighting other wars for the past fifteen years has brought us at this stage,” he remarked.
PPP leader said that his party took all stakeholders into confidence in all issues and constitutional amendment, adding that there was also need of devising a joint strategy to maintain law and order.
He regretted that there was still no single largest party in Balochistan to actively take up the issues of the province and stressed upon masses to support a single largest party who truly represent the people.
PML-N leader and former Senator Khuda-e-Noor Khan said that condemnation statements were not the panacea of any issue and added that the elected representatives of people were responsible for lingering issues in Balochistan.
He said that former dictator Pervez Musharraf and provincial government were responsible for igniting sectarianism in the province which could harm the country if not timely doused.
Balochistan National Party (Mengal) leader Ghulam Nabi Marri said that despite a democratic government the security forces were more powerful in running political and government affairs.
“Authoritarian forces are responsible for the grave situation in Balochistan,” he said, adding that whatever was being committed with Hazara community was barbaric.
BNP-Mengal leader said that since Baloch people were liberal there was no issue of sectarianism in Balochistan areas however in order to divert the real issue of Balochistan which had been internationalised sectarian violence was being spread to disturbe social fabric of the province altogether.
Saleem Akthar of MQM, Qasim Souri of PTI and others also expressed on the occasion and urged upon all parties and people to contrive unity to resolve all issues.
